I’ll be at Grounded Coffee Shop on Sunday, December 22nd, 11am-1pm. In addition to my usual eclectic mix of jazz, show tunes and oldies, I’ll be playing a healthy dose of holiday music. As a special treat for all of us, my daughter, Emily Tompkins, will be joining me on vocals and violin!

Rod will be performing solo at Walker’s Grille in Alexandria (near Kingstowne) on Thursday, October 24th, 6pm-8pm. Stop by after work for a drink and/or some dinner and enjoy some mellow jazzy tunes. Rod will be playing out on the patio, but it’s covered and heated, so you’ll be comfy even if the weather isn’t perfect. Click here for more info on Facebook.

Rod Tompkins Duo (piano & sax) will perform selections from Baroque to Jazz in a spectacular lakeside setting for a special event to support the Virginia Chamber Orchestra.
